How do I make a game like halo into 3d using my x3d glasses and software? Is there something I can download?

I remember a while ago I would turn on a mode in my settings and the screen would flash and I could open up a game like bridge commander then it would be 3d. Like it would pop out at the screen at me and the asteroids looked like they were flying at me. I can’t seem to get to that anymore? Is there something I can download that does the same thing?

3D Home Designing Software?

free 3d software for vista?
